Traction‐stop New 2023
Simpler / more elegant construction without spring, only 4 pcs 3D print. Against the old design from 2019, which had 7 parts.
Important! Tracktion stop is turned approx. 30 degrees otherwise there will be problems with larger rolls of film
If upgrading, use the bottom hole where the old Traction-stop was placed. It works well, to screw in with only 1 screw right side.
Screw and nut:
The wheel M3 X 25mm + nut at the bracket, washer and screw protection act as a nut.
Cable connection 2 pcs M3 x 16mm + nut
Fasten in the metal plate 2 pcs M3 x 6mm + nut
Glue with Super epoxy or other 2-component glue.

Before gluing, screw in the screws all the way to the bottom, the screws thread the holes! Then take them out.
Put on aluminum foil, insert some tool so that it opens, and it will be easier to access.
Right screw mount. Press the foil down with a drill, for example
Use a credit card or similar to press the foil flat on the surface
It is important that the aluminum foil goes all the way to the edge. The contact surface is only on the edge.
The right screw can be difficult to get in place, use flat nose pliers and squeeze the screw, then screw it all the way to the bottom.
It is good to measure with instrument / buzzer to test the switch before installation
Make a loop on each cable and tighten the nut before mounting on the scanner.
*This part is exactly the same as the 2019 one so if you upgrade you can use the old one.
