 Discovered that it is not possible to name folders   with Swedish characters öäå, and not spaces   "Stockholm 2024" "Stockholm2024" works fine.   Will solve this for the next version

 

Important ver 4 requires 64bit OS. "Raspberry Pi OS with desktop"

 

 Ver4 uses Picamera2 and CV2 for image processing

 

Open Terminal on Raspberry PI type this 

"sudo pip3 install opencv-python --break-system-packages" this to install CV2

 

A detailed guide for installing the OS will come later....

 

     

 

"Raspberry Pi Imager" is needed to install the OS

available for download from

https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/

 A fast SD card 8GB is enough

If user names "Raspberry" and "pi" are specified, you do not need to change the path in the user interface

 

 Raspberry pi 3,4 or 5 , 2-4GB Ram is enough

Once Raspberry Pi OS  installed, - 

I2C must be enabled

Some people have problems with I2C errors on the Raspberry PI side. Change in Config.txt "dtparam = i2c_arm_baudrate = 10000" link below how to change. The problem can occur already after 40-50 frames or after 2000 frames Thank you! Tobias Frid / Sweden for this tip.
